Occult Potion Bottle Linocut Print

£30.00

A hand-printed linocut artwork inspired by occult arcana, tattoo flash and Victorian curiosity cabinets. Each bottle has an individual label which is hand typed. .

This potion bottle feels lifted from a witch’s apothecary or an old-world spell book — part magical artefact, part dark humour. Each print is carved by hand, inked and pulled in my studio, making every impression subtly unique.

The piece plays with the visual language of traditional tattoo flash, folk magic, and esoteric illustration, making it equally at home in a tattoo studio, a gothic interior, or a collector’s wall of arcane art. Individual potion titles fill the labels of these bottles and each of the 15 printed has a different potion.

Perfect for lovers of witchcraft art, occult symbolism, tarot and arcana, tattoo culture, cabinet of curiosities decor, or anyone who believes there are superpowers worth bottling.

Hand printed in rich emerald green using Cranfield Caligo archival relief ink and is printed on 220gsm, smooth archival paper. These prints are on A4 paper, although the print size is slightly smaller and is centred as shown in images. This is a small-edition artwork of 15 — once it’s gone, it will not be reprinted in this colour.

All type is added by hand, using my Imperial 200, manual typewriter which means even the type has a distinctly analogue and unique quality, dependent on how the type hits the ribbon and the paper.

Your print is not framed, allowing you to choose something which will fit the unique aesthetic of your home.

As a direct consequence of this extremely analogue way of working, each print will have small variations, depending on the paper, ink, temperature, time of day or pressure when printed and this adds a wonderful quality to each print.

All prints are finished with my custom embossed makers mark and each print is numbered and signed. Your print will be lovingly packaged, firstly sealed in cellophane, then wrapped in tissue paper, your print is then layered between cardboard and posted flat in a padded envelope, to ensure it arrives with you as perfect as it leaves my studio.
