My practice is rooted in the traditions of hand-carved relief printmaking, where every mark is intentional and every impression carries the physical trace of the process. Working primarily in linocut, I create small, carefully considered editions that explore folklore, symbolism, memory, and the emotional space between artist and viewer. Across series ranging from cassette tapes and talismanic potion bottles to tattoo-inspired flash sheets and large-scale narrative prints, my work combines bold line, layered textures, and a strong use of negative space to evoke character, atmosphere, and story.
Each print is carved and printed by hand in my studio, using once-mixed colours, translucent overlays, and subtle variations that ensure every edition retains its own presence and individuality. I am interested in how imagery can carry meaning — whether drawn from myth, local history, ritual objects, or personal associations — and how printmaking, as a tactile and reproducible medium, can deepen that connection between artwork and audience. My approach balances craft discipline with experimentation, allowing the process itself to inform the final image.
I am an actively working and exhibiting artist, producing limited editions that are available to purchase, with all prints made in small, strictly controlled runs. I also welcome commissions and collaborative projects where my visual language and printmaking practice can be developed in dialogue with collectors, clients, and creative partners.
